Pinning all her hopes on Cheung instead of the younger brother KOO YU-TONG (Kenneth Ma) who has been critically ill, Lan teaches Cheung a special set of kung-fu skills created by the family. While everyone is looking upon the Guangdong Boxing Championship Tournament, Cheung has been caught up in the love triangle between Lan's apprentice YING NGAN-MING (Natalie Tong) and his dream girl CHOW BING-BING (Nancy Wu).
